These 2.8in (71.12mm) diameter Neoflex Membranes are .012in (0.3mm) thick and 10in (254mm) long. The membranes are placed over soil samples as a barrier to fluids in pressurized chambers. They are made from pure latex rubber and coated with quality neoprene for flexibility, toughness, and resistance to abrasion. Installation is performed using a vacuum activated stretcher to avoid damage to the specimen. Membranes are supplied in packages of 12.

New dual-layer Neoflex Membranes are used for specialized triaxial shear and flex-wall permeability testing applications. These unique membranes are made from pure latex rubber coated with a layer of neoprene and provide the flexibility of latex with the abrasion and chemical resistance of neoprene. The neoprene side of the membrane is used against the sample. NeoFlex membranes allow for use at extended operating temperatures of -40-250°F.
All membranes are available in a wide selection of diameters and lengths in wall thicknesses of .012 or .025in (0.3 or 0.6mm.)
