The Two-Part Vacuum Split Mold is an essential accessory when preparing non-cohesive soil samples for triaxial or flex-wall permeability testing. The mold consists of an aluminum cylinder with a tube for attachment to the user’s vacuum source. With the vacuum applied, the latex membrane is drawn against the inside surface, and the soil can be easily compacted.
