Compaction Ring, 2.5in (63.5mm) Diameter is used with the HM-565 Basic Swell Consolidometer (2.5in) in testing for soil swell and expansion. The ring serves as the soil mold for compaction and holds the compacted sample for testing. Ordering additional rings for sample preparation increases productivity.
