M.C. Miller 146305 AccuRef 30 Copper/Copper Sulfate with Integrated Coupon

M.C.Miller's commitment to research and development of new technologies has led to the AccuRef 30. Due to the development of a unique electrolyte, these new electrodes have a projected lifetime of 30 years while maintaining the accuracy you have come to depend on.

• Electrode: Permanent Copper/Copper Sulfate.
• Applications: Direct burial in soil, assuming low (<500 ppm) levels of chloride ion contamination. Note: For applications in chloride ion contaminated soil, we recommend Accuref Silver/Silver Chloride electrodes.
• Low Freezing Point: -4°F (-20°C).
• Design Life: 30 years.
• High Purity Materials: Copper rod & Copper Sulfate crystals.
• Cost: Less expensive than most Copper Sulfate permanent electrodes.
• Tip: Moisture absorbent ceramic tip.
• Evaporation: Will not dry out at low humidity and/or high heat.
• Wire: 25 feet (7.62 m) of #12 AWG XLPE RHW-2 lead wire; cross-linked Polyethylene jacket, direct burial, low leakage, 600 V, 194°F (90°C) Rating. Longer lengths of wire are available.
• Electrical Contact Surface Area: Approximately 16.4in2 (105.8 cm2) (a cylindrical surface, 1.5 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in length)

• Integrated coupon/holder assembly
• Integrated PVC Pipe Adapter for optimal PVC pipe connection (nominal 3 inch diameter pipe)
• Carbon Steel coupon (AISI 1018, ASTM A108, AMS5069) with 10 cm2 surface area
• #12 AWG (4 mm2) standard copper wire, green colored THHN insulation, single wire, 25 feet (7.62 m) long for coupon connection. Longer lengths of wire are available
