Concrete Test Hammers
HM-84L Original Schmidt Live Type L Concrete Test Hammer makes concrete strength estimation and uniformity assessment more accurate, repeatable, and efficient. Offering the same compressive strength range as the Type N model, the Type L has an impact energy that is one third that of a Type N test hammer for use on cross-sections thinner than 4in (100mm) or other impact-sensitive structural components. The Schmidt Live’s digital functionality significantly increases productivity in the field by eliminating the time required to record measurements and make rebound calculations. Rebound value, number of impacts, impact angle, and series ID are automatically recorded and calculated. Data management and information sharing is enabled through the free Schmidt Live app for iOS and Android. Connecting to a web-based reporting tool via Bluetooth, the app allows real-time sharing of test data with off-site personnel. A logbook feature allows GPS positioning, notes, images, and audio comments to be added to the reports. The Schmidt Live can be used as a stand-alone digital or stand-alone analog hammer.
