The Proppant Crush Cell is used with the Proppant Crush Test System, and other similar systems. One Cell is included with the Proppant Crush Test System. Additional Cells can be ordered to increase sample preparation and testing efficiency.
The Proppant Crush Cell consists of a piston used to crush a proppant sample and a cell used to contain the sample. Proppants are usually sand or manufactured ceramic particles and are often used in oil and gas recovery operations, as well as during hydraulic fracturing. The Proppant Crush Test System assesses these materials to determine their resistance to crushing and degradation.
