The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, automatic shutoff (after 3 minutes), and visual min/max alarms. Low power consumption enables 5000 readings, before the LCD indicates that the battery should be replaced. The water resistant design protects the electronics from wet environments and makes for easy clean ups.
