The Vibra Pad aids particle sizing with non-standard sieves smaller than 6in (152mm) diameter, and very fine mesh sizes. It is especially useful for breaking surface tension in wet sieving. Users of standard 3in and 6in sieves with limited sieving work or lab space may prefer the lower-cost alternative of Vibra Pad for applications where limited vibration action is sufficient.
Vibration intensity is set by knob position. Vibra Pad can be used with Microsplitters when sampling sticky or nearsize materials, settling tests of powders, bubble removal or dispersing of powders in liquids, and more.
The plastic coated 5-1/4in (133mm) square platform has two wing nut fasteners and corner pillars with garter springs for holding sieves and other items in place.
