Vicat Consistency Apparatus, Standard
The Standard Vicat Apparatus determines consistency and set times of hydraulic cement, mortar and grout. With modification using the Threaded Adapter Weight, available separately, it also determines false set.
This device has a reversible 300g stainless steel rod with a 10mm (0.4in) dia. plunger at one end and a 1mm (0.04in) needle at the other. The adjustable indicator on the rod may be set to indicate in either orientation on the 0-50 x 1mm graduated scale. It is equipped with a frame and platform, and includes a 4x4in (102x102mm) glass plate and the hard plastic Conical Mold with 70x60x40mm (2.75x2.36x1.58in) base x top Dia. x H.
