Hand-Operated Atterberg Liquid Limits Machine with Counter
The Liquid Limit is the water content at which soil transitions from a liquid to a plastic state. This is determined using a Liquid Limit machine, where two halves of a soil sample flow together after being jarred 25 times in a specific manner.
We provide both motorized and hand-crank-operated Liquid Limit machines to suit your needs. Choose between a model with an automatic impact counter for added convenience or a cost-effective hand-crank version without a counter. All machines feature a brass cup and carriage system that ensures a precise 1cm drop onto a hard rubber base. The drop height can be adjusted using a rear-mounted nut, guided by the gauge on the included Casagrande Grooving Tool (model SAA-10P). The cup is easily removable via a pin attachment, simplifying cleaning and inspection. Solid brass construction and rubber feet provide durability and stability while isolating the base from the work surface.
Hand-Operated Liquid Limit Machine offers a budget-friendly option with a built-in counter for greater efficiency.
