The HANNA INSTRUMENTS HI98713-01 ISO TURBIDITY PORTABLE METER is a highly accurate and reliable portable meter designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the ISO 7027 Method for turbidimetric measurements. With a FNU range of 0.00-9.99 FNU, 10.0-99.9 FNU, and 100-1000 FNU, this device can be used for a wide variety of turbidity measurements with an accuracy of ±2% of reading plus 0.1 FNU.
Equipped with AMCO-AEPA-1 primary turbidity standards, the HI98713-01 comes ready for calibration and performance verification. With up to four-point calibration, this device can be configured to your exact specifications ensuring even greater accuracy.
The device is designed for ease of use with automatic range selection, a 60 x 90 mm LCD display with backlight, and a LOG memory that can store up to 200 records. Additionally, the device features both RS232 and USB 1.1 serial interfaces for quick and easy data transfer, and operates on a choice of four 1.5V AA alkaline batteries or an AC adapter.
With an 860 nm infrared LED turbidity light detector and silicon photocell IR detector, this device employs an adaptation of the ISO 7027 method, using the ratio method with 90° and 180° detectors. Further, with turbidity standards < 0.1, 15, 100, and 750 FNU, this device can be used to measure a wide range of samples.
Finally, this device will automatically shut off after 15 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life, and is designed for use in environments from 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F), and up to 95% RH non-condensing.
