Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 16in Dia X 1ft
Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.
Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.
Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 16in Dia X 1ft, by Deslauriers, is a top-of-the-line product designed to provide a smooth and durable surface for concrete columns. These forms are made from galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections, ensuring a high-quality finish with minimal seams.
One of the key features of these column forms is their ease of use. They are bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite, making them convenient to transport and set up. The vertical and horizontal seams are connected with high-speed bolts, allowing for quick and efficient setting and stripping. This saves valuable time during the construction process.
While the standard column diameters are available, Deslauriers also offers custom diameters and lengths, enabling you to tailor the forms to your specific project requirements. This flexibility ensures that you can achieve the desired results with precision and accuracy.
Safety is a top priority for Deslauriers, which is why the column forms are designed with built-in lifting holes. These holes, typically found on the 4ft and 8ft forms, have a lifting capacity of 4000 pounds per hole or 8000 pounds when the forms are assembled. However, it is recommended to use a lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms to ensure maximum safety.
To assist you further, Deslauriers provides a forming manual that offers detailed guidance on using their products effectively. Additionally, they offer a full line of concrete forming accessories and tremie pipe and products, giving you access to all the tools necessary for your concrete construction needs.
In summary, the Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 16in Dia X 1ft, is a reliable and efficient solution for creating smooth and durable concrete columns. With Deslauriers' commitment to quality and safety, you can trust that these forms will meet your expectations and provide excellent results for your construction projects.
