The HMA-826 Low-Temperature Studded Wheel Testing Kit has components used with the HM-459 Asphalt Pavement Analyzer (APA) for performing Fatigue and Studded Wheel Testing on asphalt specimens in temperatures as low as -5°C. The kit contains all items needed for testing, including cold plate, molds, studded wheels and software to install on the user’s computer. Kit components are used together in testing to simulate how asphalt reacts in cold temperatures.
