This Stainless Steel Probe and test lead is designed to penetrate paint coatings etc. in order to take bare metal-to-electrolyte potential readings where the probe and test lead connect to one side of a voltmeter (typically the positive side) for bare-metal-to-bare-metal potential difference readings.
