The Vacuum Lid allows the Wash Drum for Small Aggregate Washer to be used as a vacuum pycnometer for use in Asphalt Specific Gravity (Rice) Tests to determine specific gravity of asphalt paving mixtures.
Made of clear acrylic, the Vacuum Lid comes complete with locking tabs and a port to connect the unit to a vacuum pump. Unit also features a rotating vacuum seal to ensure the lid and connections remain stationary while the wash drum rotates freely.
